to be concerned / To worry
親は子供が幸せになるように心を砕いている。
A parent worries about their child if they'll be happy.
虫がいい
「自分の都合だけを考えること」
To be selfish / only think about what convenient to oneself
自分に都合がいい条件のときだけ引き受けるなんて、虫がいい。
To only be concerned about conditions that only benefit and works for yourself is pretty selfish.
虫が好まない
「気に入らない・好きになれない」
To not like something
どうもあの人にはばかにされている気がして、虫が好まない。
No matter how I look at it feels like this person is mocking me, I don't like it one bit.

If you are having trouble reading the kanji in this post try this. Copy and paste the text into google translate to Japanese = English and look at the romaji ( the writings in English for the character) to get the accurate spelling for the character. If you’ve been studying Japanese for awhile you most likely have your keyboard set to switch between kana. Another thing you can do is take each character and put that through an online dictionary called Jisho.org. If you are actively studying Japanese this is the bread and butter of learning.
