Examples：

She was unusually cheerful today.

普段はたいていビールや日本酒だが、たまに柄にもなくバーにカクテルを飲みに行ったりする。

Usually I drink beer or sake, but occasionally I may go out for cocktails at a bar, which is unlike me.
